The Ivy - 1-5 West Street London WC2H 9NQ
Reviews
Zagat 2012
The “X factor” is palpable at this “glamorous” , “energetic” Covent Garden “class act” that attracts “a famous face or four” for its “high-standard”, “delish” Modern British-Euro “comfort food”; but “everyone is a star” in the eyes of the “stellar” staff, whose “professionalism" mitigates the “trauma of getting a reservation."

Tatler Restaurant Guide 2011
The arrival of some serious new players has relieved pressure on The Ivy, but the doyen of theatreland still takes up to a thousand calls a day.
Consistency rather than innovation has always been the name of game, standard Ivy food being fishcakes or a hamburger or roast chicken, with a decent selection at prices that won't frighten the War Horses. The excitement has always come from the patrons, where Joan Collins or Sir Elton might be at the next table.
